The Animated Film Festival is dedicated to animated productions in all its
forms, going from cinema to TV, to comics, video games and digital arts.
This event develops an original position, offering screenings, a convention
and professional days.
The Animated Film Festival is aimed at a very diversified audience : from
the cinema enthusiasts,
to the video games or Japanese culture aficionados,
to families who want to make the most of all-age activities and screenings.
The Animated Film Festival, it’s 3 days of fun and educational activities,
45 hours of screenings,
and the opportunity of meeting many international artists.
Edition 2010
Guest of honor : Mike Reiss
He writes and produces the adventures of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and
Maggie, the crazy characters
of the Simpsons series. Mike Reiss will be in Lille. Screenings, in his
presence, of feature-films Queer Duck,
Ice Age 3... Exhibition. Mike Reiss will also hold a conference on his
work.
Thema United Kingdom
Invitation to British directors, studios and productions companies. Quality
programmes of short films.
For each screening, members of the invited structures will be present.
It’s animated in the neighbourhood
Highlighting of the French-Belgian animated production. Series, short films
and feature films.
Screenings in the presence of guests (animators, producers, directors...)
Japanese animation
The latest in Japanese animation : new series or films and premieres, on the
big screen.
Electro-animated nights
Two nights in which electronic music, Vjing and digital arts will be
associated.
The Convention
"New animated stories" space, Asia universe, video games universe,
children’s village.
Professional day
Aimed to professionals of the Animation and Video Games world. 2010 will be
dedicated to new supports (phone,
Internet, games consoles...)and diffusion channels, and to new
opportunities for the creators and producers
of contents. Networking of professionals (producers, directors,
institutions...)
